I've grown up in The Netherlands, studied Business and Economics and have worked at several large companies. Having a love for adventure, when my husband was offered the opportunity to work abroad as an expat, we ventured on this journey without hesitation.

During several assignments abroad, we have lived in London, Paris, Kinshasa (DR Congo), Lagos (Nigeria) and The Netherlands over the last period of 16 years. During these postings our sons were born and we currently live in Miami as a family with 3 boys.

In each assignment I have found very different fulfilling ways to spend my time, from volunteering, to working at an Embassy and in an enterprise, to studying and in Nigeria I have founded a successful business in flower import, which is still blooming.

During these years I supported several new families during pre-visits and transition after moving. Seeing expats partners struggle in finding a fulfilling way to spend their time, I felt the key to finding what you want, is knowing what you want.

Therefore I have trained as a Co-Active Coach by the Coaches Training Institute (CTI). Co-Active Coaching is a unique, proactive alliance in which coach and client work together as equals to meet the needs of the client. 

My own life purpose statement is to 'Live life to the fullest and encourage others to do the same".

This makes coaching my passion.
